When Clients need to addresses Strategic Development issues,

Oportechnics develops TAILORED and FIT-FOR-PURPOSE workshops using

LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® materials and methodology.

THE METHOD

LEGO SERIOUS PLAY is a facilitated thinking, communication and problem solving technique for use with organizations, teams and individuals.

This method improves communication and accelerates the innovation process.
The method gives the opportunity to play seriously with LEGO bricks in view of building strategies, improving organizations or thinking in a systemic way.

THE HISTORY

The methodology was originally created to redesign LEGO's in-house strategy at the end of the 90s.
Since then, LEGO Group made the method available in a open-source format and now it is used worldwide by an increasing number of companies and organizations.

THE PROCESS

The methodology is based on cognitive science and promotes learning by combining the use of hands with storytelling and metaphors.

The process allows all participants to be on the same levels and to free imagination.
During a workshop, the certified facilitator sets a series of challenges, drawn up according to the workshop's target. Participants build a physical 3D solution for each challenge, using LEGO bricks and explaining the model through metaphors.

These 3D models are used as the basis for discussion, challenge solving and decision-making.
This process increases companies' performance through team's commitment to collaborative solutions.
